Admission Process

Diploma in Pharmacy ( D. Pharma )


The completed application form should be submitted along with photo copies of the following:

  • 10th /SSLC marks certificate
  • 10 + 2 / PUC marks certificate
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate
  • Six recent passport size photographs and six stamp-sized photographs.

Commencement of session : July

Course Duration


2 years + practical training of 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months in a government hospital / pharmacy/chemists & druggists.

Eligibility: A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics and chemistry as optional subjects.

  • Pre-university course / 10+2 /PDC/ Intermediate / Higher Secondary examination in Science.

Age : 17 Years and above as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Attendance Requirement : A minimum of 80% in both theory and practical classes is mandatory to get eligibility for sessional /internal assessment as well as annual examination.

Examination


Internal assessment / sessional examination 
There will be three periodic sessional /internal assessment examinations in theory and practical during the academic year for maximum marks of 20 per subject. Average of the best two sessional marks will be considered.

Board Exam : Examination will be conducted by the Board of Examination Authority, Drugs Control Department. The first examination in a year will be annual examination during May/June and second is the supplementary examination during November/December.

Hospital Training : After having appeared in the final examination of second year, the student must undergo 500 hours of practical training in a government hospital / pharmacy/chemists & druggists which is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Maa Lawangi Budhiya Educational And Welfare Society Mau is duly registered under the Society Registration Act 1860, took upon itself the onerous task of spreading literacy in the rural & urban areas in India. With the above task, Maa Lawangi Budhiya College of Pharmacy was established in Mau in the year 2018.

The Maa Lawangi Budhiya College of Pharmacy is established with all infrastructure like Class rooms, Laboratories, Machine Room, Instrumentation room, Library, Play ground, Cafeteria, Animal House and Herbal Garden.

The Maa Lawangi Budhiya College of Pharmacy strongly supports the anti-smoking and anti ragging campaigns of the Indian Government. The anti ragging Committee of the Pharmacy College has implemented all the provisions of anti-ragging in the campus of the Maa Lawangi Budhiya College of Pharmacy as per the directions of the Supreme Court's Order dated May '2001.
